As you can see, compatibility is the main issue now. Older computer cannot run the modern website but modern computer can run the old website. But there is a problem. Since the old computer users are becoming less and less, usually the website developer would just make the old website becoming new or simply remove the old one. By this website, it can run from very old computer since I managed to prove that it can run from Microsoft Windows 3.1 that is released way back in 1992.
And you may wondered why this website was so plain. This is because:
- This website was created with old and basic HTML to ensure the compatibility. This is why the reason it was so plain.
- This website only contain GIF format picture and this website's logo to reduce the time it takes to load.
- This website does have a very little or don't have JavaScript. Older internet browsers don't support the JavaScript that much so that's why.

Since it was proved to work in older computer, the only reason that you can't get into the website was:
- Your computer does not have an active internet connection.
- Your computer does not have an internet browsers. Before 1995, you need to install the internet browser.
- Your computer having a version of Operating System that is too old that is not intended for internet. For example, Microsoft Windows 2.0 (1987).
- Your computer may have a failure network card, disconnected to the modem, or any hardware failures.
- Your computer may have a very slow connection. This may be very rare as I use the basic HTML only.

The old text-based website is mimicked the website in mid-1990s. So for those who have used the internet in 1990s, they may familiar with this kind of website. It was text-based and the picture here was GIF animated. Hence, even the name have the word "Retro" in the link http://retroflaze.great-site.net. This is the information you may want to know:
